On Thursday, 13th of May 2010, the Saga of The Bhoga spiritual community had a new episode, wild-western style: Kim Schmock and one of his friends raided the farm armed with a chain-saw, cutting down gates and threatening the people staying there.

Kim Schmock and Peter Jørgensen threaten the people at Bhoga
For those who do not know the history of what has become to be known ‘’the Bhoga case’’ – here is some background information: Bhoga is a farm in Vejby, in the north of Zealand, which has been bought by Natha Yogacenter, a Danish school of Yoga – and transformed into the center for a lively spiritual community of artists. Over a million Crowns and tens of thousands of working hours were invested by the yoga school and volunteers from all over the world – to renovate the old farm and turn it into a facility that can house many dozens of persons for special camps, and a steady community of over a dozen of yogis from Natha. But the community received a blow from an unexpected direction: Kim Schmock, one of its members, has gotten into personal disputes with the other members of the community; When attempts to regain the peace and harmony in the farm failed due to lack of cooperation on behalf of Kim, he was asked to leave. At this point there happened something that none of those living in Bhoga expected – Kim, who also happened to be the ‘front man’ in the action of purchasing the farm and therefore had his name on the deed for the farm, claimed that the farm belongs entirely to him and demanded that the residents move out immediately and that Natha will give up its claims for the place. A series of lies and deceit took place by Kim, which we cannot mention in such a short summery, but for those who wish more information, you can find it by clicking here. While the matters were discussed in court, Kim began to harass the residents of the farm in all strange hours of the night and day, sabotaging spiritual events that took place there. At one point he even broke into the farm when the residents were at work, threw out all their belongings (with large sums of money and legal papers disappearing) and changed the locks. On another occasion he came with 6 drunk motorbikers, broke in through the window, and beat 2 of the people staying there. As a general rule, the police have not shown much interest in the case and have repeatedly done nothing to make Kim account for his actions or to protect the residents of Bhoga. The harassment continues up to the present time. For more information about the harassment of the residents of Bhoga, please click here.
The events of the 13th of May:
Thursday, the 13th of May, saw a new episode in the ongoing Saga of Bhoga – with a scene that looks like it was taken out of a Texan movie. Around 1900, Kim SCHMOCK and his brother in law – Peter JØRGENSEN, a frequent complies of Kim – arrived in the farm. They first broke into one of the exterior buildings which used to be a stable and since then was renovated by Natha as small rooms for people who come to the spiritual camps, and unloaded old furniture which they brought with them, into that building. Then the two men turned to one of the wooden gates leading towards the inner yard of the farm. The gate was closed, so the two men used a chain-saw which they have brought with them and cut down the gate – breaking into the inner yard of the farm. The noise caused the people in the farm to come out into the courtyard.
Peter walking around, threatening with a chainsaw
These people then saw Kim and Peter heading towards the front gate of the yard, still locked, and beginning to take it down, using electric screwing machines that they had brought with them. The people of Bhoga asked Kim and Peter to stop with the act of destruction of personal property and breaking into personal space, but the two men responded with shouting, cursing and threats of physical violence. Peter walked around with the chainsaw in hand in a threatening manner, called one of the women in the farm ‘a bitch’, tried to snatch a video camera from the hands of one of the people and threatened to destroy it.
Peter threatening the cameraman
Even when the police came the situation did not change dramatically. Kim and Peter ceased with their violent abuse, but their actions of destruction of private property continued, under the eyes of the police who said that ‘they did not want to interfere’. The police did nothing while Kim took down the front gate of the farm, and even did not object when he carried away in his car one of the gates which he has chopped down with his chain-saw earlier (which is stealing). However, the police did not allow the people of Bhoga to interfere and stop Kim in his illegal behavior.
Eventually, Kim and peter left the place, the police clearing out after them, leaving behind them a wide-open yard with two chopped down gates.
Some of the residents of Bhoga were concerned by this turn of events. The ‘selective non-interference’ of the police in the favor of Kim raised doubts as to their objectivity. Some of the Bhoga residents raised allegations that the lawyer of Kim is abusing his position in the Rotery Club, and the club’s contacts with the local police, to pressure the police to turn a blind eye to Kim’s criminal actions. Natha.net is looking into these allegations and will provide more proof when the time comes.
One of the concerned residents said: ‘‘If the Police stands by and does nothing while Kim and his goons take their chain-saws to the gate, what will stop him next time from cutting down our front door? Don’t we deserve to be safe within our own home?’’
